Apply for a Minor Card (17 and under)

  1. Visit Us In Person: Come to the library with your child. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
  2. Bring Necessary Documents: Please bring a valid ID and proof of address to verify your residency within the Chatham Area Public Library District.
  3. Complete the Application: Our friendly staff will assist you in filling out the library card application for your child.
  4. Receive a Welcome Tote: Once the application is complete, your child will receive their new library card along with a special tote bag filled with goodies to kickstart their reading journey!
