Volunteer

Volunteer

Volunteers are welcome during certain set hours throughout the week after a 1-hour mandatory training session has been attended. We appreciate the many people wanting to support our library, and we want to make sure we use their time efficiently.

We appreciate and value the time and effort given by our volunteers. We are always accepting applications for new volunteers. Fill out a Chatham Area Public Library District Volunteer Application or print a paper application and return it to the Circulation Desk. The library strives to place every applicant; however, volunteer opportunities are limited. Volunteers will be contacted as opportunities become available and scheduled as needed.

Cafe & Bookstore

If you like to connect with your community, talk about books and support your Library, there is no better way than to be a volunteer in our Friends' Café & Bookstore!
