Searching & Applying for State Jobs at the Chatham Area Public Library

This February, the Chatham Area Public Library will host a program to help people further their careers. All are invited to the Searching & Applying for State Jobs presentation on Wednesday, February 23 from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Zoom, presented by the Chatham Area Public Library.

The Illinois Department of Human Services will be presenting information on the different levels of jobs available with qualifications ranging from High School diplomas to professional degrees and certifications as well as the benefits that the State offers. How to search and apply for available job titles will also be discussed. If you have ever wondered what the application process for a state job looks like or where to begin, you do not want to miss this program. 

The Searching & Applying for State Jobs program is part of a series of career development programs the Chatham Area Public Library will be hosting with help from the Bouncing Back! grant. Funding for this grant was awarded by the Illinois State Library, a Department of the Office of Secretary of State, using funds provided by the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services, under the provisions of the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (ARPA).

The Chatham Area Public Library District provides materials, services, programs, and access to technology to help library users meet their lifelong learning, literacy, and recreational needs. The Chatham Area Public Library has been a destination for all ages for over 30 years.
